Western alumnus Rahim Fazal, MBA'06, was among 100 successful entrepreneurs under 30 recognized at the White House on November 17 as part of National Entrepreneurship Month.

Fazal's company Involver.com made the Empact100, a list of 100 companies helmed by entrepreneurs who are 30 years old or younger. Empact, a New York-based education company that promotes entrepreneurship among post-secondary students, put together the list, along with other groups such as the Kauffman Foundation and the Startup America Partnership.
